MEETS the 2nd and 3rd Sundays during regular worship service

We are back in full swing after the holidays. In January we studied John 2:11 on Jesus' miracles and had fun turning water into grape koolaid! We also read Luke 20 and talked about finding happiness in Jesus.

In February, we again were in the book of Luke discussing when Jesus took Peter, John, and James to the mountain to pray. Moses and Elijah appeared for them, just as you and I have wonderful experiences followhing Jesus.

We finished up the month talking about how Satan is continually tempting is and what the bible says we must do. Our lesson was on when Jesus was in the wilderness where he was tempted for 40 days.

During our time we always have snack, use visuals, and either play games or do crafts all relating to our lesson to make learning FUN! Please ask your child what they learned. You never know, they may teach you something you didn't know.

It is designed for children through 5th grade. If anyone would like to help our have any ideas that is very welcomed.
