Needville United Methodist Church

If you are searching for something to believe in or belong to, you're not alone. Our hearts, our minds, and our doors are always open...

Sunday school is for everyone and everyone is invited!

During the summer months, we gather in the church fellowship hall between 9:30-10:00am. During this time we fellowship with one another, drink a cup of coffee or a glass of juice and have light refreshments.  At 10am we begin classes. All classes meet in the fellowship hall with the exception of the Youth Group age (6th grade- grade 12). The Youth Group meets in the Youth/Family Center.

Nursery: For infants through age 3. We have a qualified adult caring for the nursery age children. She is there during Sunday School and Church. She reads and does other short activities with the children.

Tadpoles: Children ages 4 through 2nd grade. The teachers teach from the Cokesbury Materials for this age group, which includes a Bible story and activities tied to the story. The teachers for this class are Kristi Palmer and Amy Murphy, who do an outstanding job.

The Sonshine Class: This class is for students in grades 3rd through 5th. D.K. McIntosh and Becky Angst teach this age group. They too, use Cokesbury materials, which include Bible stories, plays, crafts and music. Super fun class!

Youth Age Sunday School Group meet in the Youth/Family Center: Their teachers are Jamie Stuska and Joli Felton and both connect well with their students. Their activities are varied from music to films to learning from the Bible.

The OASIS Class: An adult class consisting of the younger group of adults. They are led by Dawn Basden. Dawn is committed to this class and works to make everyone feel welcome. Their study is a study from a Christian book that has been chosen by the class.

The Fellowship Class: An adult class that consists of adults of all ages, but leans toward the more mature! All adults are always invited. Their teacher is Bette Giese, who is a devoted Christian lady who teaches from the heart. This class uses Cokesbury Adult Studies.
