Needville United Methodist Church

If you are searching for something to believe in or belong to, you're not alone. Our hearts, our minds, and our doors are always open...

The United Methodist Women consists of two groups. The day circle of the UMW meets the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm in Fellowship Hall (July excluded). We strive for Christian Fellowship can outreach to others. We provide cakes to the Nursing home; donate to NHS Pro-Grad; give to our District UMW for Mission work; and help the youth for projects. We would love to have anyone join us.

The night circle of UMW is called the Ruth Circle. Currently we are doing a Women of Faith Bible Study on ?Women?s Moods.? This study will finish in September, then we?ll decide on what to do next. We meet the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Our focus is faith, fun, friendship, and fundraising. We give monetary gifts to our graduates to help them begin college or career, we help needy families at Christmas, we purchased school supplies for our high school to help during tough economic times.

Another ministry we have is cooking for Senior Citizens every 4th Friday at Immanuel UCC. This is a community event sponsored by the Needville Ministerial Alliance.

A fourth ministry is our church is a Benevolence Committee who helps during funerals. One may help by giving a donation to help purchase food, may donate food items, or help serve at the actual funeral.
